Guys and Gals,

Thinking about adding something new the bikerforums site and wanted some input. I'm thinking of adding member pages where people can sign up and basically make their own webpages. Ideally, I'd like people to be given access to put up sites about them selves or projects they're working on....that sort of stuff.

Watcha think....something you all would use?

Mongo, check this out:

http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=41616

It works great and allows people to do it thru their control panel. No signing up or any other requirements. You can limit it to certain usergroups, or require a minimum post # or so. All stored in the database.

tam, thanks for the link to the hack.

I like that one, but honestly it would limit the use to only people who knew html - might see if I can integrate an online editor into that for people.

Some can, some can't
I'm one that can't
Tried to learn html 4 years ago, bought all the books , etc
what a loss.
So the next was to use a wizard type program
oh yea it made the page ok,
but now hoa do I edit it/change/or add to it.
Oh well that was 4 years ago.
I'll leave the sites/webbpages to the guru's
I'll just visit, and leave replies about them.
It's defenitly not for me.
Am sure some will use it.
Good thinking idea.
That ->Mongo is always thinking,,,,,,,,,,,,

Mongo it sounds like a good deal for those who can create in HTML but for those who can't I'm sure they would enjoy accessing these sites.

I think I'm going to add something where people can do WYSIWYG editing right online. Sorta like a geocities setup for bikerforums. I'll let you all know when I'm ready to unveil it.
