This section of the site if basically for bitching and 'hell of a good story' postings. Feel free to let loose when you need to, and keep us up to date, when you happen across something you just have to tell somebody.

This week, I'll rant about goofy weather. Here in Philly, I've about had it with weather. Last friday: Warm, i went for a ride in a t-shirt and jeans, beautiful spring weather. Saturday: chilly turning to cold as hell with rain. This week in general: from day to day it's been half warm, freezing cold, snowflakes, rain, etc.

I'm a pretty stupid rider anyway, braving the cold winters and all, but this weather needs to break and make up it's mind....especially since today is the first day of spring.

 

Being from ND I can agree. Only in ND can you have all seasons in a week. Rode Friday and Saturday with leathers on, Sunday came along and snowed. Monday it melted didn't attempt to ride because of all the sand laid down. This morning woke up to blizzard conditions with 6 inches of snow. Oh well, have to wait to retire to go south for year round riding.

 

Gee guys...wish I could feel sorry for ya, but....living in Daytona at this time of year especially, the riding is terriffic! Boarder line 80's today and the sun is blazin' !
I used to put up with those dismal daze tho...grew-up in northern Indiana with winters that didn't seem to go away and all of a sudden, we were in summer.
Well I'm praying that I never have to go thru that again...Hope ya'll get to spring quick...gettin tired of all the whining about winter...LOL

 

Amen for the southern riding. I live in Texas and we only have to pass on riding maybe a month or so during the winter. Even then there are still some days in there where you can get and ride some. Just be in before dark cause it still cold at night.
