Default not only is it raining....

But it's cold as hell here in Philly. I don't mind riding in the rain, but I took the 'project' bike out for a ride before I begin my dissasembly....and I near fell off the bike shivering. Hope the riding is better in the other parts of the US and world...cause for the next week, it looks likes it's going to stink around here.

We've had rain here for the past 3 days, this afternoon they are calling for flurries, then tomorrow, and HIGH, yeah I said HIGH of 40 with flurries for holloween. Every kid trick-or-treating will be an eskimo. I think my riding season is pretty much done for around here. That will give me time to install my new detachable windshield though. Thanks to FBR on that one!!!!

Cool

It was about 75 degrees down here in the Lone Star state today, beautiful blue skies, not a cloud. Rode the FatBoy around town, lots of folks out cruising. By the way Phat-Boy, I boxed the windshield up today, and I'll be sending it out tomorrow...

hope you guy's don't get to cold up there tonight....sorry couldn't help it

Whow, I've lived in and worked in the snow before but I must tell you it has been a while. Rain, California has but it is few and far between. Snow is only in the Sierra Mountains but that even does not start until late November. Not to rub it in but it is 75 degs today in the Sacramento Valley and about 60 deg is San Francisco. Ride in to work was wonderful tonight. Ride home will be a 1 hour ride in 45 deg temps and lite misting in San Francisco in the morning, just cool enough to keep you awake after a 12hour graveyard shift. The only thing is you must put up with Yuppies in Cages while driving and every one has cell phones in their ears or a book layed on the stearing wheel and reading while driving. I keep thinking I'll leave California but where to go?

From the sounds of it FBR really likes Texas. Check it out. I'd recommend Iowa, but only in the summer. They don't make snow plows for Harleys.

Yup, its getting cold here in the UK now too. We had our first frost this week. Bikes have been put away for the winter now, I have to have something else to keep me amused, so it looks like the snowboards will be coming out to play shortly.

The weather is weird here. Not that I'm complaining much, we are almost in the middle of November. Couple of weeks ago we had 5.4 inches of snow after it rained, was down in the teens, and what the hell this thursday it was 62, everyone around here that could, pulled the babies out and rode, rode and rode them. Today we are to expect rain and then snow again. Like I said only in North Dakota. Enjoyed the wind in the hair, the sound of bikes. Realized need to watch the holidays, or my chaps won't fit in the spring. LOL, anyway have a good day.
