I have my thoughts on the recent antics of TO, but I'll wait untill I hear what you guys have to say about it....

Also, what's the deal with PLaxico and the other holdout? Not much news about them up here.

I was reserving my comments until I heard the full story...but him talking trash on his teammates on national TV put me over the line. He's an ***, and his agent is an even bigger ***.

Reid won't put up with it, but they won't let him out of his contract. They will suspend him and fine him until he either stops his horseshit games or willingly tries to get out of his contract.

Glad to hear there are still some true sports fans out there. I think T.O and that moron agent of his had the support of quite a few folks untill yesterday.

That guy should sit on the bench as a backup for the season. See if that brings some humility to T.O. I know most Eagles fans probably believe that T.O. playing is better than him not playing, but it's not going to cost them any more than if he's unhappy and playing.

I figure the coaches making a statement like that may just be enough to galvanize the team again.

I think the opinion was split pretty good until last night. When the comments about McNabb, Douglas, and Reid hit the airwaves the opinion of TO quickly changed around Philly. Most fans realize that he isn't the be all/end all of receivers. Hell yeah, he's damn good...but we got through the playoffs without him last year. It will be interestint to see how this pans out - the eagles have a "family day" coming up which is all community interaction and autograph signing.

It's one thing to go into the Pro's making more than anyone can imagine, but to try to get more the next year!!!! Give me a break. They need to void the contract, get rid of him, get someone who wants to play the game. Just wanting to showboat around because you make that kind of money don't mean your crap on the field. I've seen alot better than him from some of the older veterans on the field. They can do like the Cowboys, bring in some old hands that know how to play the game and not show off. I think Reid did it right when he kicked him out of camp, and should've told him to take his crap somewhere else. I agree with BeeLo, let him ride the bench, with one exception, DON'T PAY HIM FOR THE SEASON, and see how it pans out.

T.O. is a trash-talking show-off who is in love with himself. He really shot himself in the foot, after he stuck it half way down his throat. He never was a team player. It was always all about him. I say let him out of his contract..... after he sits on the bench for the entire season. He doesn't know when to shut-up, and he'll just dig himself deeper into the pile of **** he's in now. Lets see how many teams will want to pick up this jack-*** after he's ruined his career with the Eagles.

I bet there are three or four teams out there, including the Raiders, that would still want him. That's the sad part.

I don't think the Eagles should release him ever. Just let him play out his contract on the bench. By the time his current contract is done, his prime will have passed and he'll have missed out. Once he realizes that, I bet he'll shut his mouth and play.

It shouldn't be just T.O. that they do that to. I think that all the teams need to start puting their feet down with all the B.S. that the so called greats put them through.
It shouldn't be just for screwing up either. Look at how some players want to renegotiate their contracts for more money if they play really well. I think that the team should be able to do the same thing for less pay if they don't play well. This is all getting way out of hand. If they want to act like little kids then treat them like kids. Make them sit on the bench a while and see how they like it, maybe even fine them and hit them where it hurts. (in their wallets)

First and foremost, I'm a Steelers fan - grew up out that way - so I'm black and gold through and through. That being said, I've lived in Philly since 2001 and this is a great football city too and the "iggles" have really won my heart. I try not to watch the games between the too even though the Steelers usually whip up - it's too hard to root for anybody. So, I was at the bar last night and by the time I got home it was half time. Not a bad game, historically though Eagles suck big time in the pre season. They are definitely a team that uses it to feel out new players. I can't wait for the season to start.

Hey guys, would you want to do a fantasy football league - like a BikerForums fantasy football game? I can set it up - might be some fun. Let me know. Later.

I have no idea how they work, but I'd be interested in learning.

I'm not too sure of all the rules but I know we can start a "league" for only people we invite for $125 on yahoo. I think they take care of the complicated stuff and we just see who is winning, etc. The league allows for 20 people, so if we can get 20 people interested in it. It would be about $6 a person just to get into a league. Also, we could make it an even $10 and give the winner the "pot" left over from paying the league fee.

What do you think?
