Actually the sale is done....I'm still resting from the weekend. It was tough to give the 'ol girl up, but it was for the best. So she's out of my hands officially now and every time I open up the garage I think about her.

On a positive note though, I got to deliver the bike to the new owner. Wouldn't be so spectacular, but man....if anybody is ever in the area...I have found the routes to ride. The ride to this guy was about 45 miles...but I got lost and found the greatest ride I've been on in a while. All open farmlands not far from philly...hardley any traffic and fresh fresh air. I loved it...an it was fitting to spend so much time with my Heritage before I let her go. I'll be alright, once I get my projects parts coming in here, and definitely next spring when I buy that new bike.

How's everything in your neck of the woods (or flatlands) Phat Boy. Wonder where Fatboyrider is or Devil Hog....maybe they're out trying to get in as much riding while they can.

Take it easy man.

Default by the way

Here are some recent pics that I used to advertise my bike. Having these pics is easing the pain.

Sad to see her go. Great pics man. Hang on to those to ease the pain. I don't know if I could ever let mine go, but it may be easier down the road. She's still pretty new to me. It is kind of fitting that you got lost and got some additional seat time in on the way. Espically in some beautiful country.

Things out here are great. Got some time on the bike last night. Wen't to Dad's for a cookout. Sue took the blazer with the kids so I could ride. Weather is great, upper 80's yesterday and today. Roofing the house this weekend, so I'm taking off Friday to get started. Can't say as I am looking forward to that.

I don't know where those 2 are off to these days. FBR and Devil Hog have been gone for quite a while now. What ever happened to In The Wind? I think we have over 100 members don't we?

Just makes you wonder

Glad to hear you're getting some nice weather. It rained here friday night, but saturday and sunday and today for that matter have been beautiful. A great Northeast fall day. Low 70's makes it nice.

Fall is the time for home improvement...at least that what the commercial for home depot says. While you're roofing, I'm painting just about every orifice of the house and trying to get the lawn up to Mongo par for the baby's baptism party in a few weeks. (It's October 12 and you're all invited if anybody is in the area).

I already have a shitload of parts/frame/accessories coming or at the house to create another chopper this winter so even without the bike I have thing motorcycley to do. That will keep me happy for now.

Don't know about any of our bro's or sis's, man seems like it's stagnant but I'm sure it will pick up again when the weather chills out. I'm going to hit some HD Dealer events in the next months and pass out some Bikerforums.org' stickers...we'll see what happens from that.

Later.

I didn't know there were stickers. Can I get one for the hooptie? Let me know what they cost. I won't be out your way until December. Going to the Steelers vs. Texans game on the 8th of Dec. You close to Pitt at all? I've never been out there, but can't wait. Best of luck with the paint and all that. I think I'd rather paint than roof, but that's just my bad knees talking. (I hate painting!) Hope the project goes well. Post pics as you go so we can all experience the birth of the new chop.

Email or PM me your mailing address and I'll get one to you soon.

I am about 5 hours east of Pittsburgh, in a little town called Philadelphia...just kidding. Yeah, I make it out to da burgh around that time of year though to catch up with some buds...so it that happens to be the weekend, I'll let you know. If you've never been to Pittsburgh, you'll love it. If you can take a couple days and really see the city and enjoy the food/beer.

Have fun with that roofing (ugh) and I'll start setting up the chopper project page. Later.

You got a PM.

Thanks! Anxious to see the chop progress. Let me know if that is the weekend, would be great to have someone to recommend some sights to take in while we are there!
