Default Trip to Los Angeles

So, my Mom and I make the trek out to LA to suprise my sister for her birthday on Jan 2nd. Man did we suprise her. It was fun. While in the area, we went to Long Beach to visit West Coast Choppers. Pretty cool place. Not a real large showroom, but he had a few bikes, cars and a couple of the Monster Garage creations in there. The Hot Dog Dragster, the Semi Motorcycle, and the Shark Pontoon boat was out back. Kinda neat to see those as well. His bikes are amazing. So much attention to detail, the paint is outta this world, everything is top notch. He's got a small gift shop full of clothes, and an fish tank with Sharks in it. Couple nurse sharks, I think a Tiger or White shark, and a yellow eel. That was neat. I can say I've been there now. Didn't get to meet Jesse, but I did see the bald guy with the goatee that you see in a lot of his shows.

We make welding extensions and other welding cable related stuff at my company (mostly for the ship building industry) so we do welding shows and the hottie in Marketing met him, got his autograph for me and snapped this pic. As you can see he's real thrilled about the dude putting his arm on his shoulder and look at the look on his girlfriend's face. heh heh... He's a punk and we love him that way.

FBR, if she would have been there, I don't know that I would have come home right away. Nope, the famous PB didn't make it to a single tittie bar whilst out there. I don't know that my Mom would have been keen on partaking in that activity with me, and I don't tend to be the guy that goes to those places alone. Something odd about those men. Sorry if I have let everyone down, I know I have a reputation to uphold, but my Mom doesn't need to know about it.

Thumbs up J.J

Some people Like Jesse, some don't....I like the hell out of him, Why ??....Because Jesse does what he wants to do & doesn't give a **** what anyone else thinks.....that little bit of Rebel left in me likes that attitude
Jesse is making hay while the sun shines, Choppers are back in style "big time" and Jesse is making money hand over fist right now. I think it's great, and you have to admit the guy has "vision" & talent, have you ever seen one of his bike shows where he hammers out a fender, or the top of a gas tank ??? I'm impressed...
But if I met him I would just shake his hand.....

All I know is his bikes are awesome. Some of the best attention to detail I have ever seen. The wheels, how the metal flows, paint, everything was impressive.

Latest issue of Mens Fitness has a story on him. Gives you some insight into his opinions and feelings on things. Pretty good article. Says the cost of his bikes depends on his mood. Some have cost upwards of $250K, and on some days he's gives them away for FREE?? I want to be there that day!!

I know I know, those of you that have met me are wondering, what's PB doing with an issue of Mens Fitness??? Trust me, it was only for the article!! I got a reputation to uphold!!

I like the fact that JJ knows motorcycles and their history, EVERYTHING, american and european and japanese. he's really a true motorcyclist, a true historian and a true gearhead. his blood is 20w50.
