Default Warming Trend

Actually put about 30 miles on Saturday. It was around 50 degrees, and thanks to the new windshield (thanks FBR!), I was nice and warm, and got to ride in December. Rather unheard of in Iowa. Anyone else riding?????

The temps in Manassas was in the low 60s by noon...but alas...was cleaning up the joint after having a Christmas party the night before. 60+ folks showed up. My Fat Boy kept giving me the wanton look every time I passed with an arm load to the trash can.

Glad you had a good turnout man. Hope you didn't end up with a ton of leftovers.

It's still colder than a witches tit here in Philly! Guess I'll just have to wait out the winter.

Default Hot Damn !!!

It was 75 today waaaaaay down here in the Lone Star state...I drove over to Houston to do some Christmas shopping.....oh by the way guy's...I was wearing my favorite Harley t-shirt (from Woodstock Harley in NY), and wearing shorts, and sneakers, had the air conditioner in the truck turned up high....almost broke a sweat carrying the bags to the truck from the mall. Damn weather man says it's gonna be hotter tomorrow...and I'm off...I'll probably have to drink some "ice cold" Shiners, or Corona's, and thumb the starter on that "Fathead" twin cam, listen to those Vance & Hines rumble, and go for a ride...."Hot Damn"....sorry guy's I couldn't help but rub it in....(I think I can hear ya'll cussing me from waaaay up there!!!)
later, FBR (note the sunglasses...cause of all this SUN!!!)

Ok, so I'm sitting at home and I just read that thread. There are a few words that come to mind for you, but since we have some ladies on the board now, I shall refrain. You better be out riding tomorrow for all of us trapped here in the northern climate!

You need to find a way to get some of that shiner up my way man. I got a long winter ahead of me, and with the way I have been job hunting, the chances of me getting to Houston are slimming. I really need to find something else before we break ground on the new house. Applied for a job at J&P cycles this morning. Hoping for that one out of the 4 so far. That would rock! I could hook y'all up with some parts then.

I'm a tryin man. I can do the network admin stuff they are looking for no problem. Been doing that for 6 years now. We'll stop by there next year when you come up for the Milwaukee trip. We should probably look into lodging for that event sometime in the near future by the way. I don't know if you guys want to tent it, or how you want to work it out, but i'm sure it's filling up fast. How serious are we about this trip?? It's gonna be crazy I'm sure.

Hey, if we could get a room, or rooms that would be good. I'm also cool with sharing a room to help keep the costs down...hell I'll sleep on the floor, in a chair (already do that at work!!!), I'm a shift worker I can sleep anywhere, anytime. So, if you want to try to lock in a couple of rooms that would be cool.
