I'm looking for a new motorcycle.

I like long distance rides 600 to 900 per day (my Fatboy works just fine for that part)

I pack enough stuff to kill a horse but not a camel.

I frequent areas that are very remote and have lots of dirt roads.

I was thinking of a RS1150GS BMW, any other ideas out there? I have placed 47,000 miles on my Fatboy in 2 years and I think its time to slip into something that handles mud/dirt roads better plus have great touring ability.

I had not even thought of going back to a Triumph. My first Triumph was a 1969 Bonni, I was so thrilled I bought another in 1978 and it was the worst bike ever. But I will take a look.

Back in 1969 there was nothing that was as fine as the 69 Bonni and I still long for the light and tight thumper that made your fingers tingle, *** numb and eyes bright with glee.
