Hi All, Just thought I*d drop in and say Hello, New to this club and I hail from the North East Coast, I ride the new Honda CBF 1000 and m/cyling is my passion as well as a pint or two or three, but not at the same time I add. Some may think I*m an old coot having motorcycled for 40+ years but I reckon you*re as young as you feel.

Welcome aboard gempip. I too am rapidly approaching the old coot stage of my life and am truly enjoying retirement. I also enjoy downing a pint or two now and then. I'm not too familiar with Hondas line of bikes but assume their new 1000 is a fine machine. Enjoy yourself on the boards and ride safe.

Thanks for the welcome, but now I have a confession to make, I thought I*d logged on to a British Bike Club, (Told you I was getting senile) Still I*d like to stay onboard and chat to my American buddys if thats o.k. It is interesting to swop ideas and opinions, The Honda is their new model 1000 with a detuned Fireblade engine for more grunt, I dont know the feeling in the USA about the trouble in Iraq and it looks now like Mr. Bush is going to stick his nose into Iran and I presume our w***er Mr. Blair will follow suit, but I have a feeling as many others do in this country that we are getting dangerousley near the EDGE. This of course is only my opinion but I*d welcome others. Anyway ride safe brothers..John,
