Hey, everyone. I am fairly new to biking and unfortunately do not know a lot about motorcycles. I own a 1981 GS1000GL. My uncle took it for a spin and said, "it idles high." It idles around 2000 rpm's. I have never noticed or thought this was normal for a bike. Does anyone know if that is too high? Or is it normal to be at 2000 rpm? I appreciate anyone who responds!
