My major project for now is to rebuild my old 72 Sportster. I am an old and fairly good mechanic on Fords, Chevys and Japs. but this will be my first Harley.
Im a Gen U Wine Native Texan that likes to ride dirt and explore Moab, Utah and Colorado.
Hobbys, anything old with an engine. WWII airplanes, especially my old bird the C-47.Honda XL 350, Prairie 650, Kodiak 400 and "Old Ironsides" my 81 Chevy 3/4 ton.2 way radios and scanners and old guns.

Welcome to BikerForums, not sure where Prosper is in TX but I'm sure there are good roads there for riding. Good to have you here and look forward to seeing you around. Take care.

Hey Sarge, good to have you w/ us. I haven't been on in a while. I hail from the Great city of Sherman, Texas. The 2 schools my wife and I went to played y'all in football. Bells and Gunter. I like the old vehicles myself. Got an old '76 Chevy P/U I'd like to restore in the future if she holds up. Again, good to have you w/ us.

O M G !! A pair from Bells and Gunter !! Aint none of us safe !! I even played Yall in Football in the 60s caz Im raised in Allen. Oh Yeah, good to hear from more Texans. Do Yall ride street or dirt or both?
After Jan.1 my old truck will not have to pass polution test and I can drive it again. Its a 3/4 ton 4x4 with good running gear but not so good body and interior. I use it to haul my tractor around to job sites.

I ride an '81 Suzuki GS750. My wife don't ride. She doesn't like motorcycles. I ride most of the time with my 11 yr old. I think she likes riding more than me sometime. She said she wants to learn to drive it someday, but I'm afraid she'll take it from me!!! My old truck ain't much to look at. I need to do a full restore on it to get it back in good shape. It does run ok, although right now the starter is bad. Good to have you on too.

Well its gonna be a tough chore because I picked the one year that is hardest to figure out what it exactly is, a 900 (883) or 1000 cc. Makes it cost more too.
Have a good ride,
Sarge
