Warmonger

As I think about buying a bike I keep thinking I might be a little too young, but I don't really spend my money on much and almost have me car paid of which was not cheep so I said hell lets go into debt again. I've been looking at a lot of the custom bikes from Ironhorse Customs but I really just want a bike that looks a lot like the Ironhorse Slammer at this point in time I don't care how loud or powerful the thing is I just want a good looking, reliable, first bike. At this point I am looking at around the $8,000 range.
Can anybody help me get my feet on the ground and help me out with the basics? Right now it's just a work in process. I don't know exactly when I will accomplish this goal. I've also looked at the Harley Night Train which seems like a nice first bike but I haven't looked into it to much.
