Default philly signing in

Hi guys (and ladies)

I'm tam, and i've been lurking for a while. Decided to sign up today. I have a motorcycle site of my own, and it's pretty funny that both Mongo and me are in philly...

I'm in my late 20s, and am originally from Holland (the one in europe, not the one here in the US).

I hope to stick around the Custom forum and just gain some general knowledge.

thanks!

Hey lurker Tam, what's going on? Glad you finally decided to sign up. Welcome. Perhaps you and our leader may cross paths one day. He's a good egg (head). I'm representin' Iowa, home of tall corn, and not much else as Mongo can and will confirm.

You planning on building your own custom?

hell yeah, some day.....

Problem right now is getting a bike to start with. I won't go into it, but procedural crap is keeping me from obtaining a license. Not easy being a non-citizen.... Maybe I should move to California

Hmmmm, never heard of such an event. Move to Iowa, we'll let anyone in, everyone else is moving out. We need the bodies.

Hope it works out for ya. Did ya have a scoot over in Holland?

oh man, don't even go there

It takes over half a year and at least $1500 to get a license there. Rules are very different. I started the courses you have to take but then moved to the US, before I could finish it. I have a couple hours of experience (which is nothing, of course) but thoroughly enjoyed riding. Once I get that damn license over here, I'll buy a cheap bike after the winter, and take it from there.

Welcome to the boards tam, glad you could stop on by from the main line hope all is well with you. See you've met the Phat-Boy of Iowa, who can also be seen traveling the midwest on the showgirl tour (he's the bald dude on the fatboy).

Seriously, glad you're here....good to have some more east coast power on the boards. Later.

Sorry 'bout that....I thought 'tam' was short for tammy or something. Again, sorry - now we know.
