Default How to book a Vietnam tour at affordable price

On the list of our preferences, Vietnam comes in 5th position on the 7 countries of South Asia East we visited. Yet it is certainly in this country you will find the lowest prices, include for example the cheapest beer in the world in Hanoi, 2 cent half the pressure, relaxing on a sidewalk in downtown! But if Thailand and Malaysia were returned less expensive, there are two main reasons that we will discuss later.

Let's start with food, because it is an important issue, is not it? The food in Vietnam is very cheap and absolutely delicious, this is perhaps where we enjo[censored] the most! On average, we paid € 4.14 per person per meal. Do not hesitate to go to the greasy bouis sat on a corner table plastic even sidewalks or in the markets. Avoid simply stands where food and especially meat seems to have dragged a bit in the open air and where it does not seem very clean. Trust your instinct! And do not leave without eating a pho bo wanting to literally "beef soup"! The soups are delicious in Vietnam.

Side hotel, Vietnam is not the cheapest country we have visited, but you can find decent rooms at very reasonable prices. We spent an average of € 11.33 per night for a double room. Sometimes breakfast was included, WiFi was almost systematically and rather good quality.

Vietnam is a feature of its geography: Vietnam is a great country, while length. To cross from north to south, not far from count 2500 km! As for us, our journey within the country in a dozen days of fall between 2000 and 3000 km; difficult to quantify exactly! Why am I telling you this? Just to say that transport in Vietnam are very cheap if relates to price per kilometer, or seen the spread of the country you browse a lot of miles! The best way to cross the country remains in our Open Bus Ticket, which costs only 31 € per person to go to Ho Chi Minh in Hanoi making steps in Nha Trang, Hoi An (well, in theory without flooding !) and Hue, which is a distance of about 1600 km anyway!

There are however two things that cost us dear in Vietnam, and who are it is not the cheapest country in the list at the end. The first is that the visa to Vietnam is expensive or very expensive if you take it in advance in France or others. We about us paid $ 45 per person at the Vietnam Embassy in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, see our article: From Phnom Penh to Ho Chi Minh. At this price, you have the right to stay for 30 days in the territory, with only one entry (can not leave and then return to the country). Since we sta[censored] only 12 days on site, we obviously visa is expensive on our daily budget, being stay longer, it would have less impact.

The second thing that cost is relatively expensive our cruise in Halong Bay. It cost us $ 65 per person for two days, a total of more than € 100 for two, choosing a boat not too bad but far from what is more luxurious! The price is worth the effort, however, even if some manage to fare better by going to Halong themselves and finding bargains on site. cheap Vietnam tours

A highlight of the trip to Vietnam is the motorbike tour in Hue, it cost only 30 usd for the whole day, including driver and petrol and a wonderful lunch at a monastery, we got picked up at hotel at 8.30, we drove through the countryside and visited a covered bridge across a small stream, then we got to see City of the Death, a splendid monastery for people of rich families, our trip continued with visits to incence village and a woman making conical hat, the Tiger Arena, we visited Thien Mu pagoda before riding dragon boat back to hotel.
