Talking 04 Sporty

Hey all, John here with some good news finally. Just got my scoot back from HD. They said they could'nt find anything that would cause the backfire. The service writer and I spoke for a few minutes about the problem and he decided to have a tech take it for a ride. Well coming back into the service dept. it started backfiring as soon as he tried giving it some throttle. They hooked it up and ran a code scan, it spit out a code for the crank sensor. They swapped it out for a new one and the scoot runs great. It was also covered under warranty. John

Man, what a long journey to get that fixed - I'm glad they finally tracked it down for you....and EVEN BETTER that it was covered under warranty. Now....get out there and ride that thing!
