1981 750 honda oil leak?

Default 1981 750 honda oil leak?

Hi im new here and also new to motorcycles. I am 20 years old so still have alot to learn ha. Well I decided to buy this 1981 750 over the winter and chop it and stuff which i did and it ran ok. Well no i have a oil leak that come out of the head in this hole? Im not sure if their was a plug at one time that just blew out or if i need another head?

Then also since it is straight piped i heard if i jet the carbs it will run better?

Hi there, the first problem with your buike not running right is the pod filters or cone filters.

These carbs are not designed to run with this type of filter, only with a paper type originial in the original air box.

If you want it to run right you need to get the orginal stuff. Or Change the type of carb to something compatable with the type of filters you have there.

No need to be rejetted i shouldn't imagine if you have all the right stuff together.
