Hello everyone! I'm new to the forum and to the world of street motorcycles. I've owned a dirt bike, but that's it.

Anyway, I recently obtained a 1982 CB750 from a co-worker. It's not running and needs a lot of work. Whoever had it before my friend decided to cut all the wiring, and the frame mounts for the rear shocks in hopes of making a chopper. I'm needing help in the wiring department. The igintion is gone, the turn signal wires are all cut...they rigged a cheap aftermarket ignition switch to the starter, but nothing else so it won't start. I'm hoping to do most of the work myself and have found an 82 CB400 down the road from my house that the owner was planning on scrapping. It has an intact main wiring harness so, my question is, will the 400 harness work on a 750?
