Sail-Dive

Started my 1998 Honda Shadow 1100 today and the gas is spewing out of the overflow tube at the bottom of the bike. Really a lot of gas. I'm disassembled down to the carbs but the will have to be removed to unscrew the bottoms. They don't even look like they have a float bowl but the must have. I'm going to hook up a remote gas tank and try pecking on the carbs but I don't hold out much hope for that.
I just thought that someone else may know the solution.
