A friend and I will soon be getting our amature racing licenses and begin racing in amature road racing events. The problem is we can't decide on which bike is better: 07 Honda CBR600RR or the 07 Yamaha R6? As far as manufacturer specifications go, the two bikes are very close. However, the Yamaha's real power lies in the higher rpm range(over 11,000) and I feel this could be the downfall of an amature if he isn't super confortable with cornering. If any of you have ridden either bike or have further insight, it would be much appreciated.
