1980 suzuki 1100e electrical
on my 1980 suzuki 1100e i have a charging problem.
the stator and regulator\rectifier are both less than 2 yrs old.
from the stator, on any 3 lead combo, i get 85 volts AC. which the book says is good. but from the regulator i see no change in the voltage at the battery when bike is rinning or not.
i know to maintain battery life the bike should charge at about 13 to 14.5 volts when running.
any answers anyone???
