Hi all. New to this forum and am a new rider. I have a 2003 883 , with Buck horn handle bars. I am a die hard music lover and have seen other bikes with stereos or some variation of a full music system mounted on it. Can any one give me advice on how to go about this? Any products that you would reccomend? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Ride Safe!

Default Hi

Hello Lady Rider, I want to welcome you to the board.
Hope you enjoy the company.
I also have a Sportster and ride as much as I can.
I have not seen a Sportster with a sound system before, I know the dressers probably have that option. Sorry not much help here.
Is your bike fitted with forward controls? If not, I would definetly reccommend them, they make rides so much more comfortable.
Anyway welcome to the jungle and ride safe!

I remember getting an ad from a place in Milwaukee about stereos for any bike. I left the stuff at work, so once I get it I'll post the info here.

They made systems for all kinds of bikes...looked slick on the models I saw.

Hi Lady rider welcome aboard. Harley has come out with a stereo for the Road King that mounts to the handlebars. Not sure if it will fit Sportster or not. It's a bit pricey. I had a Sportster 1200 Custom before my Road King and really enjoyed the forward controls. Enjoy your ride.

Welcome aboard! Hope you enjoy your stay. Good luck on the search.

Mongo, I recall the Milwaukee stuff, but I don't remember the manufacturer. Hopefully you can locate for our new lady.

Thanks for the info. I think my riding days are over for now. I would also like to put different pipes on the bike. Maybe long shots. I love the look and i bet the sound would be great. Ride safe!
