Hello everyone,

I'm really interested in getting the Buell Blast 2007 for short commutes around the city. I'm also a beginner rider. I think the Blast is really appealing, especially for the price tag (I think it's pretty good, $ for $).

Anyhow, please feel free to give you thoughts and/or suggestions on the Blast or any other bike that's similar to the Blast. I'm really not looking to buy a sport bike, as I am looking to buy a reliable and comfortable one. Thanks!

 

the blast is a bit under powered even for beginners its ok for a little while then u need to move up so i would suggest a bit bigger bike to start out

 

Deffinatley not a bad bike, but if you want more power with lees maintanence I would recomend the Lightning series instead.

Keep in mind that most Buells are very well built, so no matter what you're likely not to be dissapointed if you buy one (which you should)

 

buells suck, ripoffs just like harleys

 

My wife bought a Buell Blast for her first bike. Kept it about three months. She bought the Lightning XB9S. Loved the bike. But we are both getting out of the bike business. She sold her Lightning and I am trying to sell my Firebolt XB12R. Would suggest you go with the Lightning. The Blast is very underpowered.

 

Buell blast is a good choice for a starter.....
