Bandit a good first bike?
Still looking for a bike - just in the shopping mode. As I posted once a while ago, I'm returning to motorcycling after a 20+ year hiatus. Found a local deal on a Suzuki Bandit - its a 1200 cc.
Would the collective minds here consider it to be too much bike for a middle aged returner? Only thing I have ridden in recent years is dirt bikes.
I don't want anything too twitchey - I am more of a laid back rider but lately cruisers have been leaving me cold. The standard position feels better to me anyway.
Thanks.

Hey - Thanks. I know the control is in my hands as the rider but I haven't been on a bike that big in many years. Don't want anything that would be "unforgiving", if that makes sense.
I like the Bandits upright position, its looks and the low end power would be ideal for cruising around on the twisty roads here.
