Default High Compression Heads

I have been riding my '99 XL1200C (Sportster Custom) for 5 years now. My rocker box gaskets are leaking so I'm going to replace them this spring. Since I will have the rocker boxes off and I will be halfway to a head replacement, I'm considering changing to the Sceaming Eagle High Compression heads. I'm looking for advice and feedback on how this will effect my performance.

I am a torque junky. I can't get enough. I ride moderately. I frequently run the bike up to 4,000 RPM with strong acceleration. I occasionally crack it hard and take it up to 5,200 or so. I like to have the juice when I ask for it, but I most often want it at 2,000 - 5,000 RPM.

Does anyone have experience with compression?

Thanks,

Mike S.

Nallin sttage two ported heads are good I run ported buell thunderbolt. You have to run high compression pistons to get high compression. I like weisco 10:1 or buell pistons I wouldnt run 10:5 due to detination problems Then you can run a screamin eagle ingition modoule to raise the rev limit. I wold go back with a copper head gasket to add a touch more compression.
