Question New Bars on Fatboys

Ok, got the 01 Fatboy, and I'm growing tired of the stock handlebars on her. Thinking about going to a 5 1/2" riser and some drag bars. Anyone make the change to new bars? If so, was the change tough to do, and were there any stock lines that needed to be re-routed or changed for fittment? I know the stock front brake line will need to go braided, but anything else?

Thanks

Default Risers

Hey "home boy"......I put the H-D pull back risers on mine. They are the 4 1/2 inch one's. Kept the stock bars....didn't have to change any of the cables, or lines.
Took me about 30 mins to do the job....and made the FatBoy ride like a totally different ride. Much more comfortable now.

Hey , I also did a new trick to my scooter....took off the "football" twin cam air filter cover, and just put on one of the chrome center covers that you buy to replace the middle insert part of the "football" cover. It it the exact size of the K&N filter....looks mean now, with the oiled K&N showing...and the round chrome center piece...everyone that sees it likes the hell out of it & wants to know about it. You have to already have the Screaming Eagle air filter kit to do this, cause the stock filter won't work with the chrome center insert, only works with the K&N, or similar size round filters.

When ya coming back down to party with me ???

Well man, I thought it was going to be next month, but now I have to go to Branson MO, and Pueblo CO for work, then on to Witchita KS to see the Big Dog plant and order a Dog for my buddy and Milwaukee for play. So, I guess the answer is I don't know. We'll see how work goes. If I do make it down, I got season tixx for the Texans, so we'll hit a game bro!
