Default Ninja 250 plastics?

I just recently bought a 2003 Kawasaki Ninja 250. I dont want to get rid of the bike, but i hate the look of the tail section of the bike. i was wondering if anyone out there knows of any companys that make kits to change out the tail of th ebike.

Doesn't Dremel make something that can change it?
Try doing a search for Ninja after market parts.

Best bet would probably be to find a plastic that you like and modify it to fit. Off the top of my head I can't think of anyplace that makes aftermarket kits for the Ninja 250. I know some guys that are good with plastics and regularly get requests to modify a set to fit another bike.

sometimes on the gixxer.com forum i hear of guys swapping out a whole rear frame (and plastics) from one bike to another. significant mods are required i would imagine.

i'm kinda surprised you don't like the butt on that bike. i think it's neat. i like those cool recessed, pop-out bungie hooks.

gixxer.com. Blast from the past for sure.

mofman3, I don't know if they make a ton of parts for the 250's, but I would think someone would have some parts for you. Not much on Ebay right now, but check Dennis Kirk or some large catalog's like that.

Good luck and welcome.

The Ninja 250 is actually a fairly popular bike. Lots of people using them as track bikes. They strip off the OE plastics, lights, mirrors, etc... put on fiberglass body panels, solo seats, rearsets, aftermarket exhausts, and racing slicks. Take em' to the track and just have a blast for not that much $$$$.

Here's a link to a site dedicated to the little beast;

Hope this helps you find what you're looking for.

dont know of any companies but u can remove the plastic wheel faring and put your turn signals in your brake light it has extra light sockets on the sides of the brake light. makes your bike look much better. u should try it i did looks great.
