Default Old Wings

Anybody have any input on a good year goldwing that I could wrench on. I've never touched a goldwing, but would kinda like to dabble in touring....so I'd like to get my hand on a reasonably priced older wing and see what I can do with it.

Anything to watch out for/look for? Thanks all.

They are almost bullet proof. I have two 1980 GW Interstates. Would be willing to let one go if you are interested. It has about 28,000 miles and runs very good. Needs to be repainted and new rubber. Otherwise, take on the iron butt with it.
