Default Sporty Hardtail
got a "bolt on" hardtail for my 76 sporty. Doesn't line up. Anybody have any input or experience?

In my experience, nothing ever really "bolts on". Can you be a little more specific about where it doesn't line up?

top holes on hardtail should line up with shock holes on frame. off by 11/8"
will have to grind off that ammount and fab a couple braces .

Is that eleven eighths? Do you mean eleven sixteenths? Got a pic?
