Default What Bike to get?

hello everybody, I just learned how ride bikes and I wanted to know which sportsbike is the best for me to get as a new rider. I am pretty big, I'm 6'0 and weigh 350lbs. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.

I would recommend the Ninja 500r as your first sport bike! I'm 6'.1", 200lbs. The Ninja 500 is not a SUPER sport bike so you will be much more comfortable in it's slightly more vertical stance. (Unlike supersports which have much lower handle bars) Plus, the MSRP is only $5,000. You can even get a 2-3 yr old used one for $2500 to $3500! Tons of parts available for this model since it's basically the same bike from 1994.

Once you get a couple years out of it, trade it in for something more sporty if you feel the need.

Good luck!

I personaly don't care for sport bikes but I tell everyone who asks me that question to take the time and sit on the ones that catch your eye and see which ones are the most comfortable. A comfortable ride will be more enjoyable than one where you are uncomfortable.

Putting dirtbike style handlebars on a sportbike can make them MUCH more comfortable!
