Default What makes a motor cycle street legal?

hi friends,

I have a Honda Ruckus and am looking to make some cosmetic changes to it, however I still want to be able to legally ride it on the street. I rarely use the rear view mirrors and find that they prevent me from fitting through tight spaces. Can I remove them and legally ride?

It varies from state to state. You can find most of the laws for the 50 states here:

depends on the state. i live on the border and the rules are different. I can drive 50 feet and be illegal. Check the laws of any state you ride in

I think in Oregon you're required to have at least the left hand side mirror, plate, and the basic head/tail light and blinkers...maybe not even blinkers as you can use your hand signals. Best to check with your local DMV.
