I am doing the Elko NV Rally this year in June 16,17,18

http://www.elkomotorcyclejamboree.com/

but I have weekend free so I might make a Day trip down
to Laughlin from Vegas on Saturday.
Though I heard its 90% no Colors and I tend not to support
folks that violate my 1 st ammendment rights

Also I won't make Holister *SIGH* but
Will probbly go to
Too Broke for Sturgis

(if that doesnt open use this and click on upcoming events)

This is a fun small Rally
Bring Rain Gear and Leathers its a cold rain in those Flagstaff mountains even in July!

But I have found no matter which one I go to its always a good time.
the one here in Vegas is getting better every year too!
though Plaza needs to work on their parking/Registration of Bikers.
maybe they learned from last year?

I was there for my first and probably last major event in 2002. The year of the shooting. I love the Laughlin area and went back there last year in mid March and enjoyed some great riding & weather on the Arizona side of the river. I'll try to get to the Runamucca rally in Winnemucca Nevada on Memorial Day Weekend, and Street Vibrations in Reno in September. Those are my two majors for the left coast.

I hear what you say about Laughlin - I just need to get a ride in

Reality is that I am going for the day before the event the first day and then I am leaving - I would preferr to ride then walk around.

I did that run the first 2 years and I thought it was really fun. I got to meet some really nice people who also think that Laughlin is way too paranoid about the so called "Outlaw Biker" element. Anyway it's a lot cheaper to ride around the valley then go to Laughlin.
