Default Ride to Missouri

Hi everyone. Wanted to ask a question. Am considering a ride to Missouri. My brother-in-law doesn't want to go cause he says the law-dogs there are very bad about riding tickets on bikers for loud pipes. Anything to this?

MO is a pretty big state, to make a broad generalization like that is probably wrong. Also, even if they do take their sound ordinances that seriously - don't be winding up the pipes when the boys in blue are around. Avoiding a trip like that because of that reason is rediculous.

Ridden to KC MO a couple times, never had a problem, and I had loud pipes in the Fatboy.

Thanks Guys.. I figured it is about the same in all states. They won't bother ya unless ya happen to crack down on it. I tryed to tell him that but he just wouldn't listen. Maybe now he will consider that ride to St.Louis.
