Default Sturgis and Daytona Bike Rally Question

Thanks for reading.

I really need some info.. I am concerned about my significant other going to these biker rallys He is young..later20's early 30's, attractive and it seems this place is VERY tempting and that its just too wild. I feel very uneasy about it and don't know what to expect. Is this a place a man in a committed relationship or married should be going to without the other person?
He will be riding down, i won't know what will go on.
He doesnt really want me to go. I am ready to say, i want to fly down to meet you since i may not want to be on the back of bike for hours and hours. (he doesnt want me on one that long anyway)
I looked up pics and even some videos and it seems its ALOT of nudity..how can any girl be secure with a boyfriend or husband going here?

Please write back.

seems like all you can do is trust him, if he is going to stray, he'll do it at home as well. As for temptation, we are men, we are tempted everywhere we turn, but if he has something good, he won't want to lose it. Or you can get a bike and go enjoy the festivities with him.

If you feel uncomfortable or feel like he will cheat, then I'm going to say there may already be a problem. There are temptations everywhere, there just happens to be a concentrated amount of it at these places. I wouldn't over-worry the situation. Be supportive and show your love, that's the only thing you can control.

I just dont feel comfortable about it after seeing the pics and videos.

Is it more looking than touching? Is it more of these girls who work there posing etc etc...he doesnt seem to want me to go.

There is a lot of crazy stuff that goes on, there's no doubt about it. Instead of talking to us, talk to the man that is going - probably address the problem better.

True there are things that happen at a rally. I would go so far as to say a lot of things that can happen. Like taking some truly great rides, seeing some wonderful sights and enjoying the company of new friends that you meet. Now, I don't know you or your ol' man but from what you had talked about I will guess that you don't trust him at all. A lot of us guys here have probably been to a rally or two and will probably say things that you don't want to hear. We will try to help you if you want but I suggest writing to Dear Abby or something if you want someone to say what you want to hear. If your distrust is so strong I don't think that there is anything that anybody can say that will change that.

Sorry if I am being too blunt.

Most of the really rude stuff happens at the campgrounds and private parties. The cops in Daytona keep the "flashing" to a minimum, if I was out looking for the sex, I wouldn't go to bike week, I'd go to Mardi Gras. Thats where you really find the Girls Gone Wild crowd.

I spent a few years as a bartender while I was married. I was always faithful to my wife, it was her constant accusations of me cheating that caused me to file for divorce. I never ever cheated on her, but she would never believe me because there was temptation in my job.

As far as the crazyness, its more of a show your **** and keep riding, I don't think its any place for a child, but a responsible adult can handle it without getting in trouble with the law or the wife. And if its the ******* that bother you, you don't know bikers very well. Its all for show, no touching, kind of like strip club rules apply.

Motjk,

I totally understand what is going through your mind girl. It will be even worse if you don't go and you stay home instead. If he is going to cheat on you, it probably won't be at a rally - it will be near his home turf, where he is more comfortable. The rallys are huge and fun and full of things you normally don't get to see. If i were you, i would invite a cute girlfriend to fly out there with you. The two of you would have such a great time. Take shorts and leather garments, riding boots and baby wipes.......it's not a beauty contest(although you can make it be), but rather a gathering of like-minded fun folks!

I hope this helps............
