There is going to be a new rally in Mancos, Colorado this Labor Day weekend, August 30 through September 3,2007!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not affiliated with the Echo Basin mess or the people that caused the mess in any way, shape or form!!!!!! We are just a group of Montezuma county residents that have invested our own time and money to make this rally happen. We have some great bands lined up, along with a bike giveaway(2007 HD Street Bob), but still in need of some more vendors. All permits are in place and we are ready to rock and roll!!!! You are right there will be 2 Rallies in the area. But the other is in Ignacio, Colorado, NOT Durango!!!!!!!! The owner of the HD dealship in Durango thinks of himself as putting on a rally, when actually all he is doing is promoting his dealership. His web site makes it sound like he has done all of the work to get these 2 rallies going, when all he has done is take advantage of the situation!!!!! The guy is about as crooked as a dogs hide leg.

Just to update this thread, the rally in Mancos is on again this year, 2008. It is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 28 to Monday Sept. 1, once again at the Sugar Pine Ranch. The URL for the rally is http://www.sugarpineranchrally.com/.
