Yamaha Ray Z Launched at Rs. 48555; Will Target Boys
Yamaha India's maiden scooter, Yamaha Ray was the most successful Yamaha product last year, which helped Yamaha to grab a bigger market share. The Ray was targeted for the fairer sex of the country, which was a disappointment for Yamaha's male fans, who prefer a Scooter over a bike. Now, to mitigate this gap, Yamaha has launched a new version called Ray Z. The new version boost aggressive new paint and graphic job, which appeal the boys as well. Yamaha RAY Z has been launched in Goa today. This model is developed to target young male users in the age group of 16-22 years with its concept of “Aggressive Sporty Design.” It keeps the same basic performance of the “RAY” model released in September 2012 while giving it a sporty look and feel with
1. Aluminum rear wing-shaped tandem rider grab-bars
2. A smoked-finish visor for a motorcycle-like image
3. A new instrument panel with a carbon fiber patterned background
4. A carbon fiber patterned seat cover material, and
5. Dynamic coloring and graphics. The new model adopts the same air-cooled 4-stroke 113cc engine with CVT (Continuous variable transmission) that delivers smooth start-up acceleration and good pickup along with great fuel economy.
