Default Back home...

Well, I just got back home today. Been up in the Texas "hill country" for about 2 weeks. Road, and road, & rode some more....put almost 2500 miles on the FatBoy in 13 days. The weather was outstanding. Got to put some miles on the new Mustang seat, and it's a keeper for sure, it's so comfortable I think I could ride forever. Also I had recently installed a Hayden M6 chain tensioner on the scooter, and those things really help smooth the shifting out...not as much of a "clunk" when you shift now...more like a "clink". And nuetral is breeze to find now. It keeps the primary chain good and tight, no more slop.....anyway, I spent a good part of this evening giving the Fatboy a bath, and cleaning her up....
I guess I must sound like a freaking sales Rep for Mustang, and Hayden...LOL...but I just wanted to pass on some info on a couple of worthwhile products.
later...

Well look who's back. I'm sure it was a much needed break for you man. Glad you got out and got some serious seat time in. Too bad we couldn't hook up when I was down, would have been great to see ya again. Won't be back until August looks like now. Can I interest ya in the Milwaukee trip again by chance??? Or did ya run yourself out of vacation time on the last trip??

Good to have ya back on the boards man.

Default PB !!!

Hey PB, well, this trip just sorta "happened" , and I missed ya this time. But I don't have any plans for August, and I have a couple of weeks vacation left, but will save most of that for the holidays at the end of the year. The 100th isn't in the plans, but I'll be thinking of you guy's and wishing I was there for sure. Do you know for sure when you will be down in August?
Anyway, hope your getting some riding in also, and hope that windshield is coming in handy

take care Bro...

I'm going to assume it's going to be either the second or third week of August. The first week I have a show in Branson, and the last week of course is my trip to Milwaukee with Mongo and Loose Meat, so I'll schedule it for then. Been getting some good seat time in lately, weather has been awesome. Got an e-mail from J&P Cycles today about all of the June rides, so I'll be making it to them as well. Should be a blast. The windshield is awesome, and works great, thanks again! We'll be missin ya in Milwaukee.

Take care

Default Shiner brewery tour...

Oh, I forgot to tell you PB, on the way back from the "hill country" I made a little detour through Shiner,Tx and visited the Shiner Brewery. Took a tour, and it's a very clean little place for sure. Believe it or not the place only employs 50 people total. The best part was the hospitality room after the tour .
