Default Down, but not out....

Well, guys after all the highs and lows of my past few weeks....you would think things would straighten out for me. As I cross this intersection of life....I don't get hit by a car, but the bike stalls out........

I should quit talkin' like a greeting card cause this ain't soothin' or helping sugarcoat it any. Plain and simple, I got laid off and it sucks. So with a new house, a new baby, and another 1 1/2 year old running around what is Mongo gonna do? Who the **** knows?

Thankfully I have finess when it comes to bargaining and will be getting a severence that is basically my pay for the rest of August, the whole month of September.....and all of that with full benefits. So it ain't that bad, and I'm sure I'll land on my feet, but turns like this in the road of life ain't fun to ride on.

I need to go for a ride, later all.

Words are pretty useless right now, but know that my prayers are with you and your little one.

update for ya'll. Thanks for all the posts and thoughts and prayers. That truly means a lot to me and my family. To get support from people I've barely met, is really something fantastic.

The job ain't no big deal....I'm firm I'll land on my feet. I've been preparing for this layoff so I'm almost there with a couple jobs....plus I hated this place anyway.

Our daughter, Ella is doing well. She had a viral infection of (basically) her stomach. This would be a stomach ache to us grown ups, but with a 3 week old...it can be pretty serious since they have no immune system. So they are keeping her a few days, and she is progressing very well. Not dehydrated anymore, and the waste out both ends has stopped. She looks, and is acting a hell of a lot better too. Should come home from the hospital tomorrow, and I'll probably head out of work early to get her...since it's my last day her....F Them.

I'll keep ya'll updated and thanks again for the thoughts.

F 'em is right brother! Hope the leads pan out for ya, and you're back in action soon. Double up on cash by collecting severence and from the new job!! I paid cash for Christmas one year by doing that.

Glad to hear Ella is coming along. We'll keep the prayers going for sure. Hate to see little kids ill, they are so innocent.
