Default Good morning everyone

Where the heck is everybody? Man this forum is like a ghost town. You leave me no choice but to tell a bad joke:

So a horse walks into a bar, and the bar tender says; "why the long face?"

bucket-a-fish!

ok, ok, how about the dog that walked into the bar and he says; "I'm here for the man who shot my paw"

I kill me.

Ok Ok I give, I'll post, no more jokes. Was in Houston over the weekend. Got back to town yesterday, but had major server issues and was busy with them all day. It is a little slow on the boards lately, but I'm guessing you folks on the east coast are too busy shoveling to post.

Stop the horrible jokes......actually thanks for posting something. I was digging out of here in Philly and I had some work to do around the house. Also I was trying to make the money to fund all my projects...and that took up a lot of my time.

Also had an Dr. appt. that took up a big part of the day yesterday....that and getting to and back from it. Oh well, I'm here everyday whether I post something or not.....just haven't had much to post since I'm just staring at snow...and you can't only post a bitch about snow once or twice before it starts to sound like you're whining.

I've been working on the wife trying to convince her that a warmer climate would be better for us and our kids...lol.

Warm weather is sounding good. I'm thinking Arizona. Or Puerto Rico.

I agree...no mo jokes like those...LOL.\Yep Mongo...as much as I hate to say any thing, Florida has been very very good to be a resident of this winter. I don't particularly care for it here, but it is better than havin to dig out of a snow storm. I feel for ya'll. You guys really got it this year and I honestly don't miss it one ioda!

Come on Bike Week!

The great meltdown has started now. Course that's after I had to shovel our roof at our house and take a torch to the gutters to defrost them. Actually it was quite an operation...wish I would have taken pictures. We have an old house, so I actually got out some of my SAR **** and tied off on one side and cleared the other. Yep...there's mongo up on the roof with a full harness and a shovel. Then I reversed it and did the other side..got some odd looks from the neighbor (Screw 'em).

To de-ice the gutters I took my trusty torch and quickly blew that ice away. Of course the down spouts had to be removed to get to the ice but again....you should have seen the neigbors faces when they saw me up on the roof with a torch. Damn glad I didn't catch the house on fire (since safety was an afterthought).

Anyway, I'm dug out and the Mongo household is free and clear of snow and ice.

This has been a very cold winter here in Southern Ontario. Kind of depressing maybe why there are so few posts. Today was a different story though. Sunny and temps around 4 degrees C. or 38 F. After work took the Road King for a halfhour ride on the expressway to charge up the battery; both the bike's and mine. Had a great time. Can't wait for the next nice day.

Yeah!!!, I got out for a ride 4 days after Blizzard Daniel! Friday when I got out of work it was warm so I fired up the sixxer and the Road King and took 'em both for a sloppy ride. 15 minutes of riding, one hour of cleaning.

This is what all you people in warm climates are missing out on (?). Pic is my deck after Blizzard Daniel.

Oh my freaking God! That's insane man. I can't believe that. Thanks for the pic, hope it warms up and melts that stuff soon. We hit a balmy 25 today, with high 30's forcast for the weekend. Yipee!
