Default Good times

Howdy all. Seems like everybody is out riding, and I'm glad. Just hope people keep stopping by here.

I have ranted in a while cause I've been busy. I did want to post to mention the Daniel Faulkner Memorial run held this past sunday from Hamilton, NJ to the beloved city of brotherly love, Philadelphia. It was a great time, period...and I hope that they raised a lot of money. Met a ton of great folks from all over, before, during and after the ride at the festival they had set up at pier 24 on the Delaware River.

Any of you interested, this is a yearly thing...so start thinking about it for next june....hell you can even crash at my place if you need to.

Other than that, I've kept quiet around here because I've been doing a lot of thinking. I'm actually pondering selling my bike and getting a new one. One of those tough decisions though.....I've built this to what I want, but at the same time....I think I need a change. Who knows what will happen, but I'll keep you updated. Any input would be great too....I was thinking about going from my Heritage to a Wide Glide....but only time will tell. Later ya'll.

Mongo , yep the riding has been nice for everyone now that everything is thawed out , and spring is here. I guess that's where everyone's been lately , and that's always a good thing...to be out riding.
As for a new scooter....other than my FatBoy the only other bikes I really like , and would have if I were rich enough to own more than one Harley would be a Wide Glide , and a Softail Springer. I love the forward controls on both , and the mini "apes" on the Wide Glide , and the pull back "buck horns" on the Springer both give you that "laid back" position when riding. But if I had to choose between the two bikes it would be the Wide Glide. I'm just not sure about the Springer front end , and how smooth it would be...plus those chrome springs would be hard to keep clean.
I have a couple of friends that wouldn't ride anything but a Road King, but it just feels too bulky for me, but does have the smooothest ride ever. Anyway , let us know what you decide....hope you're doing good Mongo...stay cool
