Default Hardcore cage customization

I was away for the weekend, but that didn't stop me from doing some cage customization on my trip.

We have a 2003 PT cruiser - burn rubber edition - the whole enchilada. Over the weekend my wife's driving abilities forced some major customization work that I'd like to share.

Hope you guys like it, I may start up a business doing this type of stuff.

That's the reflection of the kids bikes....no other than the missing rear window the car is spotless (when clean).

I like the fact that you went with the "tint" garbage bag (dark). Very nice. You do good work. Does it defrost? snicker.

I think I'm gonna pitch the whole "replace your glass with garbage bags" as a new business. Cheaper, versatile...with tons of options.

How much to buy in?... I'll open a franchise up here in CT.

I gotta tell you Mongo, I think I have an improvement to your design though. It appears you used clear packing tape. I have clear duct tape. I think that would be better. Maybe we should test it?

Negative, I've done this a few times. Used duct once....not good if you have any sort of coverage on the paint. Too much adhesion pulls off the paint. Packing tape binds to rubber/plastic well and doesn't pull the paint like duct.

I've only had to plastic a window like 6 times. This is a new area for customization....maybe they'll start a discovery show about me.

It'll be called American Mongo, and it will air between American Chopper, American Hotrod, Southern Chopper, and the new American Casino. Holy shiznit, they are getting crazy with this stuff, I bet you could make it.

Either way, your still my man if I ever need such work done. Now you all see why I bought my wife a Suburban 2500. LOL!

Well, here's the parts list if interested:

Hefty Black Contractor bags
3M Packing tape - red dispenser

Hope that helps.

Mongo I am looking forward to seeing you on the Discovery Channel. My money says you'll knock all those other shows off the air. You should package the supplies in a kit and sell it on the infomercial channels. You'd clean up.
