Default New Norton Nemesis

If you'll haven't heard, Norton is coming out with a new motorcycle this year. It has the monsterous Merch engine and is state of the art. This new bike will sell for around $30K. This monster has 115bhp at the rear wheel, so at the crank it probably generates around 130hp. It weighs only 585 lbs. and has over 100 ft./lbs. of torque. You can see this new bike at:

I have always like the norton's.....hell who doesn't. A few weeks ago, before all the snow...on a somewhat dry day I saw a guy blasting around on an old Norton Atlas, those are some bad *** cafe racers man. Some day I hope to add one of them to my collection, but that might be a while.

Anyway, good to see Norton is making strides with some new bikes.

Default That is a sweetheart

One good looking fine machine. Not all stretched and leaned. One of the classiest most dignified customs I have seen. And it is not only going to yank out like it's been caught by a grappling hook hanging from an F-16, but it looks like it too. This one has the making of a real competitor. I would love to take a test flight on that ride.

MINNEAPOLIS: Norton Motorcycle Company has announced that it has changed its name to the Viper Motorcycle Company, and Viper has released all trademark rights to the Norton brand. Merch Performance Inc, is to supply engines for the new motorcycle. According to their new CEO, "The initial response to our first model, the Viper Diablo Power Cruiser, has greatly exceeded our expectations."

The goal for Viper Motorcycle Company is to be a full-line manufacturer of high-end motorcycles. The company will introduce 3 additional models sometime this year. Now
THIS one just might be worth watching.
