Thumbs down 'nuf of this cold

Why is it every damn Friday the bottom has to fall out of the thermometer? 'Cause I go skiing with my kid on Friday nights. As if last week wasn't cold enough (+2), tonight they're forcasting a low of 0. It's gonna suck! The things I do for my kids............

Wink wanna be my dad?

I wish my Dad did things with us when we were growing up. Well actually I didn't even know anybody whose dad did anything with their kids... so I guess I didn't know I was missing out on anything.

My dad, (to me,) was the greatest back then, and I think I can say with compleate honesty that he did what was expected of men back then, and we all loved him.. and still do. No I guess I'll keep my Daddy, and cherish him for as long as I get to keep him.

Be there for your kids dads, it's one of the greatest gifts you can give your "babies..."
they will always fondly remember these times, long after their childhood is gone.

Cool

I gotta tell ya this one. There's nothing better than when I pull up to the elementary school on my Road King to pick up my little guy. I get all kinds of nasty looks from many of the moms waiting for their kids. One time, a kid walks by with his mom and says "mommy, look at the motorcycle". She barks back "motorcycles are dangerous!" I reply "yeah, inattentive drivers make it that way". Man, if looks could kill! But then my son comes out, spots the bike, and starts beaming, pumping his fist in the air. He's puts on his helmet and shades, and he's the king of the world as we ride off, and he waves to all his friends climbing into mom's mini van!

Thanks PB! heh heh. Aint enough good, happy, feel-good stories in the world to get me to have kids. Known since I was 13 I wasn't having any and got the big 'V' at a very young age. And trust me, if you knew the gene pool I'm from you'd shake my hand and thank me. ;-)

I've seen photos of ya, that's enough for me!!! LMAO.

If you know you don't want them, best to not have them. Probably a good idea on the "V". Just more money for toys!!!

I doubt if I'm ever going to have any kids either. I just spoil my brothers kids. I'm the only one in my family that rides and I'm always giving my neices and nephew rides. They just love it. I'm going to build a mini chopper for them if I can get the money together. My brothers think it's dangerous but I just ignor them. They don't know what it's like to be on 2 wheels but the kids do and now they all what to ride when they get older or whenever their uncle is around with his bike.

Nieces and nephews rule! I love mine. And all my friend's kids call me Uncle too. I dig that. I've been a soccer coach for 7 years, and I volunteer at my local Technical High School... that's good enough for me.

and once again... thanks a lot PB. bastard. :-)

WooHoo, you are a good sport. I'm just kiddin as you know.

If I wasn't so busy with my 5 year old twins, I would probably be doing all the same things you guys are. With one boy and one girl, I get involved in everything. Go from playing football to Barbies in a minute. It's crazy, but kids are the best man. They say and do the funniest things.

Caleb and I are looking forward to riding the quads this summer, but now Brie says she wants one too when I sell the HD. I could be out riding with both, and that's gonna be fun. The local track started a 4 - 7 year old 50cc quad class. You know one, if not both will be racing this summer.

Smile Hee hee

My daughter is 32, has a 7 year old son that I get to spoil... take for rides on the Harley! LOL...
When my daughter was in middle school and high school, I used to drop her off and pick her up on my FLH... same thing... Moms hated us, boys adored us. She had to fight them off with a baseball bat,,, or rather I used to beat the crap out of them when i found them lurking outside her bedroom window.... I got to where I set up traps for them... LOL now those were funny! It kinda became a game between me and this one kid,,, the more inventive I became, the more he tried to outwit me. Guess we had an even score by the time the game ended... LOL
