Request - Fundraiser for wounded soldier
Hi Guys
Hell's Angels of Long Island are having a fundraiser for Ian Lennon, a soldier badly wounded in Iraq:
http://www.hamcli.com/
(Its under Events - Cabin Fever party)
Please see http://www.chopperweb.net for more details. We've set up a donation box there and hope people continue to donate money
Note, this is not spam, this is for a good cause. This kid fought for us in Iraq and now the army is about to discharge him on disability. He needs this money for operations.
Thanks in advance!

Please take a minute and read this. Ian Lennon is a 24 yr old, Lance Cpl in the Marine Corp. At the beginning of the Iraq War, Ian was severely burned, in an explosion while re-fueling. Ian has suffered 3rd degree burns over his entire head, neck, arms and hands. He has lost count of the operations he has had already, and faces many more. Ian's mother Debbie Lennon left her job to be by her son at a military burn unit in Texas. Ian will most likely be discharged soon, on disability, and we are trying to get his remaining operations and therapy here in NY. The military accepts civilian hospital care in severe trauma cases. Needless to say, Ian's life has been changed forever, and Ian needs help. He lives in Lindenhurst NY (long Island), with his Mom, and sister Jennifer. Besides the pain and suffering that the family is enduring, they also need to contend with mounting bills, since Debbie stays with her son. The military houses Debbie, but Ian must pay for his mothers’ meals out of his own pay. In case we have forgotten, military pay is quite frankly a joke. Cut to the chase...There is a bank account in Ian's name and only Ian and his mother have access to it... If we can get a large number of donations from private citizens, it will really make a difference in Ian's life. No donation is too small, and every bit counts. This is one hell of a kid. He NEVER complains, and somehow has not lost his sense of humor. When asked what can be done for him, the largest request he has had is for a Big Mac and fries
