I havn't been to Tennessee since 1988 but I seem to remember that it sucked then too. Of course I was in the service going through school then. Welcome to the site. I'm sure you'll enjoy it here.

Welcome from IA. Glad to have you aboard. Enjoy the site, and hopefully TN will get better for you. Why'd you move anyhow?

Thanks For the welcome all.....I moved here 'cause wife is a RN,
"what was i thinkin" we have statiscally the worst H-D dealer in the country!
Out of 479 dealers in USA....they are rated number 479....worst CSI scores in all of HARLEYDOM!! It's so backwards here.......lotsa refrigerators on front porches! Never seen so many cars in one front yard! Most of the women are just as wide as they are tall! and I see why dentistry is a four letter word!

CrewCab, welcome to the site. As a TN resident let me defend the state a little. There are great roads in TN. If you are in East TN you have to get on some of the back roads from say the Knoxville area down to the Chattanooga area, simply beautiful. There are also some of the most beautiful women in the world there. If you compare them to what’s in Iraq they are the best in the world. Don’t condemn the whole state because of a few rednecks or a redneck town. HeavyDuty, if you were at FT Campbell you have to admit that where some hot women in the Paris Landing area. Come on, women in bikinis you can’t go wrong. Ok, some women should not where bikinis, but you run the risk of seeing that at any beach, even south beach. Now lets admit that the women in the Miami are some of the best looking women that a doctor can make, but they are kind if hard to talk to. Anyway, all is good just having some fun. I am getting on a plane in about 12 hours to start my journey back to TN. I have been away for almost 4 month and I am dam ready to get back to the states for a while, even if it is TN. LOL. Take Care and Be Safe!!

Good lord man, should have come to IA, not quite that bad, tons of nursing jobs. We have all our teeth and the women are a little taller. If you can deal with the occasional snow shower you'd be good to go. We just don't have paved roads, airports, and the only other work is hog farming according to some around this board!!!

You know FBR, I might just have to come down there and have a talk with you about this. Might take me a couple weeks to get everything smoothed over, so I hope you have some extra room!

Acualy DILLIGAF I was in the Navy and was stationed in Milligton, TN just north of Memphis. I did meet some good looking girls while I was there though. You know what they say about sailors having a girl in every port. Well, I have to tell you that it's true.

Default trashing tennessee........

I actually live in an area, called Halls, North of Knoxville. It's very pretty here,
I bought in an upscale subdivision,Custom Cedar home, on an acre. No complaints there! Great roads, beautiful Mountain views.
The traffic here is the worst I've ever seen......I'd actually be a little scared to ride on the street here. Too many people with no drivers licenses, no insurance, no assets! So if they hit you, you'll never be able to even get your bills paid. Jobs? What jobs? If you want to work for $12/Hr.....MAX. This is the place to be! The only reason I'm here is my wife is a Nurse, she took a position here, at a local Childrens hospital! That sucks too.......She lost almost $12/hr just switching to this state. And did not find out ,until after we
moved here. So my advice to people is.......if money means nothing to you,
and the laid back lifestyle, is what you are seeking.
C'mon down yonder Y'all

Red face trashin Tn

My sister and her husband lived in Tn.... well him for all his life except for a stint in the AF... and my sis for the last 21 years... they recently moved down here to Fl... He misses the hell out of Tn. and she's happy as a clam here....

They lived near Johnston City... in the hills... near the stills... in Stony Holler...(or something like that) oh, you get the point?

I don't blame you for being bored... if your not bred in Tn., "it can be a nice place to visit... but I wouldn't wanna live there," is the standard motto.

Come on down to sunny Florida... most the time... except during summer. And sometimes during bike week... and oh winter can be kinda wet too. But we do a hell of job dodging the drops and finding the sweet roads down here... flat as hell though... gee now why is it I live in Florida? I forgot.
