i guess i better introduce myself. name is derek and i am just getting into bikes. i have had a few dirt bikes over the years but never a street bike. my plans are to find an old yamaha rd350 or maybe even a 71 triumph. my plan is to build a cafe racer out of it. im having a hard time finding a yamaha and that is the route i would perfer. if any of you guys have any hot leads should let me know. nice to find this forum!

 

Hey Derek, welcome to Bikerforums. A good place to search would either be ebay of course or a place called craigslist.org. In my experience, other than using cycletrader mag those are the best places to find some obscure bikes or something special.
