Default out with the old

in with the new. Hello! I just purchased a '05 Springer. My last bike was a '59 Panhead that was sold due to a d-i-v-o-r-c-e.

Thumbs up Hi

New Here.
Jack of all trades master of them all ...
Macgyver Great name.. thats what they called me in the Service LOL..
I have Not rode a Bike in 20 years. with the Wife talking that big Divorce word
I said To hell with it. and took the 2 day Rider Course over a weekend.got my license that Monday, Bought a 2005 sportster 883 the same day. By Friday
I was on the road.
I really wanted a Touring Bike with all the traveling I do. But in 1995 I had a work related accident that Broke my Neck... so I opted for a Smaller Lighter bike
if there is such a thing(550lbs) lol. Being semi disabled.
so far 5 months and 7500 miles later Here I am planning a 2200+mile trip.
On my sportster.
I thought I would just say Hi.
These days I run a few local radio stations that pays the bills including the bike. and during Concert Season I travel as a Concert Sound Engineer
for some really well known Artists. My April 2200+ mile trip is to do sound at a Jazzfest In Fla. a working Vacation. Gotta love it.
If allowed I would post my URLs

Wow hog, we have a lot in common. I picked up the nickname in the service also, and am now a disabled vet returning to school on the VA's dime. I opted for this bike because I wanted an older bike but wanted to ride instead of wrenching half the time. welcome.

Welcome aboard Hog659. Congrats on the new scoot. I did the same with my divorce as well. Next day I had a new bike. Then my current wife helped me get the Harley. That's when I knew she was the one. Enjoy the site.
