Talking From Sidney, BC

Hi all,
I just got another bike after being rideless for two years. I got a 1986 650 suzuki savage. I like it alot. I used to ride a 650 yamaha vstar but it was pretty heavy for me trying to park it. The savage is more my size but still has lots of power on the highway. Anyway, its great being back in the saddle.

Welcome to BikerForums! Hope to see you around on the forums.

BTW: can you give a guy some pointers on things to do in Vancouver? I'm going there in a couple weeks.

Take care.

Sorry, I wouldn't be much help about things to do in Vancouver. I actually live on Vancouver Island, Vancouver is on the mainland.

There are lots of twistys on the Island though, and its a great place to visit if you don't mind taking a ferry.
Hope you can come before the rainy season - October to March, although we do have some great weather then too, its just that you can't count on rainless days. (or the weather forecasters, for that matter)

I'll actually be on the island for a day too - don't have to take the ferry either. I'm taking a flight out there for the day. I'll be getting in before the rainy season too....it's at the end of this month.

Anyway, I hear it's beautiful and I can't wait to see for myself.
