Default 2001 Yamaha 650 V-star oil change

Anyone want to give me any easy tips? I have to do a tune up on my future sister in laws' bike.

Just being lazy, I haven't even looked at the bike yet. I hear the 1100's are a real PITA.

I can't tell you much about the V-Stars except that if you plan to do any maint\repairs yourself, a factory service manual should be the first thing you buy so you know what & when to service certain items.

Not my bike, just doing a favor for a friend. She doesn't have the manual, nor does she want to buy it.

I'll be swinging by the Yamaha dealer sooner or later to get this mess figured out.

I did a bit of looking around online to see if I could find an online manual somewhere but didn't see one. Usually the Owners Manual gives that kind of basic info. Have you looked in it if she still has it?

Yeah, she doesn't have anything for it. Already asked.
