Default body armor

Hello,
I was wondering if you all thought that it would be a good idea to where an armor plated vest or a bullet proof vest while riding. I live in FL and its kind of hot wearing some of those biker jackets and I dont like the look of a lot of the sport bike "armor".
Thanks,
Jon

If you think the biker stuff is hot, you aren't going to like the armor or vests any better. Try using an under armor shirt or an under shirt that wicks away the moisture and breathes. Plus the vests are way heavier and unless you are and LEO you're going to have a tough time buying one.

Its not only the heat factor. I have a rebel and I dont like all the street bike racing gear. I found some riding vests that look like a bullet proof vest. I also found a bullet proof vest on ebay. here is a link to both. I just want something that is going to protect me first and for most but if I can get something I like the look of thats even better. YOu know what I mean?
Thanks,
Jon
