just joined so i hope this is the right place for this.

i have just recently been experiencing some problems with the starter on my bike (2006 yamaha v star 650 classic). havent rode yet this year so i went to start it up and it took a little but but she still started up pretty quick. i let it sit and warm up a little just to make sure it was running all right. about the time it got warmed up i started to hear a buzzing sound from the motor area on the left side. i promptly switched it off. when i turned the key to the "on" position the engine immediatly turned over and started running with the buzzing sound (ie: it started without pressing the starter button). so i turned it off and let it sit for about 10 min. turned the key...nothing. hit the starter button...started up fine with no buzzing sound. i thought to myself "ok thats done" and went back inside.

the nex day i go out to make sure it was working alright and its the same story as the first time. warms up, makes the buzzing sound (like the starter is stuck on), turn it off, wait, then starts fine.

day three is still the same story, only now after letting it sit, it is still acting like the starter is stuck engaged. it has been this way since yesterday. i know that it isnt the starter button getting stuck down so im guessing it might be a wireing problem?

also i cant even find where the starter is on this thing (never had to get into the motor for any reason) so any direction to finding the starter would also be appriciated.
